Our museum has three buildings each with its own theme. The
collections are a part of
Waldoboro history, yet our exhibits have wide appeal
to people who live anywhere in the country or world.
The large barn houses our "life the way it was collection." Here you can find:
- a ladies emporium replete
with antique clothes, jewelry and shoes.
- quilts dating back to the mid 1800's
- our treasured Waldoboro hooked rugs

of which are on display at the Farnsworth Museum)

The Hauck building portrays
life at work Among the exhibits :
- 4 antique fire engines, shipbuilding displays
- farm tools, a working loom
- military
collection spanning the Civil War through WWII
The one room Boggs Schoolhouse, built 1857 and used in
town for
kindergarten through high school andwas moved to these grounds
in the 1970's
You can also view the large stone structure used
as the Town Pound, built in 1817 to house loose sheep
and
other animals still standing in its original site.
