The
Historical Society can assist you with your Genealogy Requests
in
one of three ways:
1) If you are going to be in the Waldoboro area between June
and September email us with your query so that we can
make an appointment to meet with you to access our files
2) If you are not in the area, or if your query reaches us after
September, we have in the past offered to do research by mail. You
or via our PO Box (110). If we have information and ifthere is someone available
to do the research we will be in touch.
3) One final suggestion is to visit the Lincoln County Courthouse in
Wiscasset as well as local libraries and other town's Historical Societies
To assist you in your genealogy queries, we must have key pieces of family
information. Since in many cases, families
used the same first names
over many generations, please provide some of the following information
to make any query possible:
Father's name
Mother's maiden name
Dates of birth, death or marriage
